I was at the CR checking out the christmas decor. Took some pictures of the construction. Looks like they are pouring bases for piers to maybe attach to main building.

Thanks for posting those. I posted some taken last Saturday and they were just working on the 4th floor on the far side - it now seems that has been completed and they have started the 5th floor while completing the 4th on the near side of the building.

At this rate, we should be able to see the full height in another few months.

I will be at OKW at the beginning of February. Based on the construction you have seen so far, how many floors will I be able to see then?

I will be at OKW at the beginning of February. Based on the construction you have seen so far, how many floors will I be able to see then?

Since the construction appears to have advanced by a full floor in the past 7 days, they could be up around 11-12 floors by early February - depending on the construction schedule over the holidays and based on any weather problems.

We were on a Disney tour last week and the guide said 'and those are going to be the contemporary DVC's"...so I thought they didn't officially announce it??

I am pretty excited. We are going to def. buy into these.

I will be staying in a grand villa at OKW with my wife and two friend couples from January 25 until February 1. It will be wonderful to show our guests the dramatic construction on the newest DVC resort if there are indeed 11 or 12 floors up by then.

Wow...based on that progress they could be up to about 33-35 stories high by the time we visit in July!
