Bumping up!:bounce:

I haven't stayed concierge there (I think they call it club level??) but I stayed there years ago and adored the MK view.:D

Hi - Never have stayed concierge at CR. But I have read that there are 2 levels of concierge at CR and one is not as nice as the other. Sorry, would help you if I could.:D

Hi Tink, We have stayed at Yacht Club concierge and Contemporary Tower Club, which is not full concierge. The full concierge on the 14th floor is quite expensive. Tower Club is on the 12th floor and has a nice continental breakfast of danish, donuts, bagels, muffins, cereal's, fruit, juice, chocolate milk, coffee, etc. In the afternoon there is lemonade, cookies and various sweets. There isn't anything available in the evening. So the difference is evident in the food offerings not being available after 4:00. However, it is still worth a stay there because of the great location...Mickey's Character Breakfast in Lobby, walk to MK, take boat from dock over to Hoop-De-Doo at Pioneer Hall, monorail to Epcot. The view from the 12th floor was great. Elevators were fast and fun. Give it a try!

They have both conciege and club level. I have stayed club level and loved it! I would definitely do it again if the price was right!
The service was excellent and the views unbeatable!
The club level service ends at 4 pm daily, but we could call upstairs if we needed something and they brought it down to us.
We also had a fridgein our room(no charge either) and we got a daily stock up of water from concierge and we had it nice and cold early in the am when we went to the parks!
The spread is actually pretty decent that is put out for breakfast.
The usual fare of pastries, breads, bagels, muffins, cold cereals, hot cereals, waffles, fruit, and a few things I am forgetting. The afternoon one had fruits, veggies, nacho chips with salsa, brownies, cookies, and I can't remember what else.

Tinkbell I posted this on another similar thread when someone asked about the CR.. I have stayed on both 12 and 14. We love it... we love the view of the MK and the staff. There are also reviews over at wdwig.com

We stay at the CR concierge as often as we can -- The last time was in May. We love the Contemporary and for us, it is like a home away from home -- the staff is absolutely wonderful from the people in the food court to the bellmen to the concierge staff. I stayed at Port Orleans in July and couldn't believe the difference. It was difficult to get help with my luggage, I was given the wrong directions to my room, no one cared and no one smiled threre- ever! (That was the weird part to me... everyone at disney smiles.. most people at PO didn't)

So back to the contemporary .. the concierge staff is very knowledgable and helpful. They can help you plan your day, make dining suggestions and arrangements and answer many questions. Since you are booked in advance they may even send you a little form to fill out to help you plan your days. They love working with guests and hearing about their time in the parks.

The other perk of staying on 12 is that they have a breakfast buffet (muffins, bagels, donuts, cereal, juice, milk and coffee) which for a family of 4 can save a few bucks over 4 or 5 days. They also serve a snack in the afternoon- cookies, brownies etc.

As for special things that have happened to us everytime is special, but there are a few things that we will never forget! 14th floor and room service used to serve bay lake bannana cream pie (years ago) I was telling one of the concierge staff how much I missed it.. they sent me to the steakhouse, who found the head pastry chef! She sat down and gave me the recipe and offered to make it for us! but we were leaving that day. She gave us her card and told us to call her the next time we were down.. on the next trip we did, and before the end of our trip we got to enjoy one of our favorite desserts!

Another thing we missed was the bananna stuffed french toast that room service used to serve (yes, we love banannas!) .. again we were telling the concierge that we missed this, the next day they had found out for us that the Kona Cafe over at the Poly still serves it for breakfast!

On another trip, we got engaged and the concierge staff was in on it! Being such a disney person my fiance had to go out of his way to keep it a surprise. They wrote up a phony letter and placed it in our room, to get me to city hall where we had a 'tour' that ended at the rose garden. The concierge staff knew all about the letter and 'answered' all of my questions about the tour- lol! Then we had dinner arangements for Victoria and Alberts, I went and tried to change them to another night! Since the staff was in on it, they were able to talk me into keeping them. After getting engaged, we went to get changed for dinner we found champaign and treats in our room, as well as a vase for the roses!
