I hope you can help put me at ease. We are staying at CR during our upcoming March trip. I have stayed at CR many times in the past and have loved it..now, I am getting concerned. We have a Tower Bay Lake view. How bad is the view of the construction from these room? Are there certain ones to request/avoid? Also, no place to use refillable mugs? These seem like some pretty hefty issues for all of the money we are spending for this resort.

Any infomation or advice would be appreciated!

A couple years ago, we had a bay view room on the 14th floor. We actually requested it. We LOVED the view. We were almost to the end, closest to the MK. We could look out and see the north wing (were construction is now). We also had a wonderful view of FW, WL, and could even see the top of Epcot and the fireworks. I haven't been up there since they took the wing down, but I can't see how it would totally take away from the view. I actually think it'd be kindof cool to see the new building in the making.

Stay as high up as you can. Have a wonderful trip.

Thank you - just concerned about the noise/view. Sounds as if the view should still be OK. Isn't the 14th floor CL? Either way we will request the highest floor possible, my DH always likes to be up high.

Thanks again.

Anyone else have info/advice?

The 14th floor is one of the two Club Level floors the Contemporary has, with the 12th floor being the other one. So if you want to request the highest floor possible that would be the 11th floor.
