CR and gifts waiting in room????

My FDH made ressies for us to stay at the CR for the last part of our honeymoon. I wanted to have something special waiting in the room for him when we get there. Any ideas, like wine or champage, chocolate mickey, balloons, stuffed animals, flowers, etc???? Has anyone done this before?? I have read somewhere that at the POLY, you can have a romantic dinner and rose petals on the bed set up for you. Does the CR have anything like this???? Would love to hear some ideas from those who have stayed at the CR!!!

We had champage and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us w/ a card that said Congrates from the staff at OKW. I told them it was our Disneymoon when I booked our trip. Good Luck!

A few of the resorts have started offering something called a romance package. It can include champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and even a romantic turn down service. Your best bet would be to call the CR and see if they have it available yet. If the front desk can't answer your question, ask to speak with private dining. It appears as though that department is handling this new feature.

You can also check out www.disneyflorist.com . They have very special items that can be delivered to your room. Unless you are staying in concierge, it's not common that items will be placed in your room prior to arrival. Many things can affect your actual room assignment before checking in and another guest might just end up enjoying your gifts.
