CPAP Question

Not sure if this is the place for this or not- sorry if it's not but I did not know who else to ask..

Friends we are traveling with both use a CPAP machine. They are supposed to use Distilled water in them. We are staying at POP- will the store there carry distilled water or can they find some elsewhere onsite? We are not planning to order anything from a delivery service and the cost for just this one thing would be very high- using ME so no car.
Wondering if they can use filtered water for the week if we can't find the distilled.
Any experience with this would be so very helpful...

I have been to WDW once since getting my CPAP last fall. We drive so getting to the store is a non-issue. But, I forgot the water holder for the humidifier (I had taken it out to clean it and forgot to pack it with the rest of the machine). So I went the week without it. Not everyone is comfortable without the humidifier. I'm usually not but as someone noted in the thread I referenced with the humidity in FL it makes a difference.

We have shipped it down before with other things we have used. I used a 20oz. drink bottle that has been cleaned well. Or ask at the front desk or kitchen. They use Distilled water for cleaning and cooking and can usually get your some. Don't try to ship a gallon, even packed very well it will leak and get everything else wet.

I do wish that a company would market this for the travel industry in a 16.9 or 20oz. bottle as Cpaps and Sleep Apnea becoming much more common. I think there is definitly a market for it.
