My husband and I both use CPAP machines. When we travel it is often very difficult to find places to plug them in on both sides of the bed. There is usually only a plug on one side of the bed. Does anyone know if there are plugs on both sides of the beds at Pop Century? My machine also requires distilled water which I don't think we will be able to take on the plane to last me for 8 nights with the restrictions on liquids on planes. Can you request distilled water for your room or does the gift shop at the resort sell it?

Not sure about the plug-ins but the gift shop should have distilled water. I use a cpap also and know that the food/sundry area at the contemporary has it.

Dh uses CPAP. For short trips less than 8 nights he will just use tap water.
We have seen distilled water in some of the resort gift shops.
Bring one of those 6 foot(or longer if you can find it) multi plug in extension cords. the CPAP cords should both reach halfway under the bed.

Have a great trip

There was a plug next to the bed closest to the bathroom. another was on the other small wall as you enter the sink area so any cord would lay across the opening to the sink/bathroom area.the closest plug to the other bed was on the wall where the window is, you would need about a 6 ft cord to span the distance. I don't remember if there was a plug between the beds behind the nightstand, it seems like there was not becouse the clock is plugged in across from the beds behind the dresser and tv. there was also another across from the beds below the small table and chairs, again you would need an extension cord. I did not notice distilled water at the gift shop, but you could call to ask.

Thanks everyone for the info, I always stress about these machines when we travel. I love to travel but since getting them I haven't wanted to since it is such a pain packing them up then trying to find places to plug them in! We are thinking we should probably carry the machines on the plane with us just in case our luggage gets lost.

You should definitely carry them on. Put them in their own bag (or yours and his together) and it will not count toward your carry on allowance since it is medical equipment.

In the rooms with 2 double beds, there is a plug behind the nightstand that the alarm clock is plugged in, and there is a plug on the wall on by the bed near the bathroom, there is also a plug on the wall by the door, but there is very little floorspace there. When we went my mom slept in the bed closer to the bathroom and put her's on the floor next to the bed with no problems.

As for the water, if you can't find it at the resort, you can call and order it from this pharmacy that delivers to the resort. I can't think of the name, but they made frequent deliveries when I worked at Pop. The front desk will have the name and phone number for them.

but some have done this, but I think shipping would be outrageous for distilled water. Some have used grocers.com and other websites.

This is great to know! I didn't know you could have a separate carry on for medical equipment. Thanks so much!

This is great information! Sounds like we won't have a problem plugging in or getting water! Thanks!
