I've been to CM for breakfast a few times, but never CP. Can someone tell me which one they like better...and is the food at CP much different than at CM??

Crystal Palace breakfast is a "must do" for us. Try to get your ressie for 8:05 am on a non AM EMH day, and enjoy the pleasure of walking into the Magic Kingdom with barely a soul in sight, other than your family. The food is absoultely delicious, and the experience of meeting Pooh and Friends will only make your breakfast so much more special. Enjoy!:)

Been to both a few times. I like CM, but CP breakfast is even better. They are both buffets with some different choices. I remember CP just being a little fresher and more food options. The added plus is you get to be in MK before park opens if you get an early enough reservation. I do like Mickey and friends characters better though. For us, we only do CRT breakfast for now with our two dds on MK days. Perhaps we will get to CP again one day ....

Definitely CP!! Love the food, characters, and MK. :thumbsup2 We usually do CP every visit. Looking forward to our meal in 8 days.

We went for our first family visit in April. I think the main thing I learned was how important it is to hit the parks first thing. The park opened at 8am and so we could get some important early park time, we had a snack in the room around 7 and had a late breakfast at 10:15 at Crystal Palace. We were there a little over an hour and basically were one of only about 3 or 4 families in our part of the restaurant by the time we left. They still had breakfast on one side of the buffet and they were putting out lunch when we left. Our server encouraged us to stay as long as we wanted. We were there about an hour. The characters probably came around 3 times and the kids took part in the parade. DH & Kids were at buffet & I was sitting by myself when Eeyore & Piglet came around an additional time and both hugged me. I was talking to my sister on the phone & Eeyore is her favorite. He got my phone like he was talking on it. It was so cute & it's a shame the area was so desterted that nobody else saw it! That was the only place that the characters went out of the way to interact with me or DH. DH got his picture taken with Tigger.

We went to dinner at Chef Mickey's and the food for dinner was not nearly as good as the breakfast food at Crystal Palace. Our service at Chef Mickey's was pretty bad. The characters at Chef Mickey's were good though.

Thanks! We have exactly that...8:05...but I will say when we've arrived at the MK about that time before there is always a huge line of people with breakfast ressies walking into the MK...so I'm not sure how "deserted" our family castle picture will be.

I would pick CP breakfast. :goodvibes

Some of my fav pics from our trip last summer we're from waiting at CP with the castle in the background. Also, I love to take pics with the pooh and tigger and friends "trees" inside. Plus the food is always good :thumbsup2

I didnt like the food at CM at all. Did it once, wouldnt go back unless my son asked. But luckily he hasnt asked! Crystal Palace all the way. As others have stated, if you get an early ressie its nice to get a photo in front of the castle. :)

CP early morning sometime like 8 before park opening without AM EMH. You could actually walk into Main Street with almost empty park with great pic opportunities. Food is awesome and Pooh and Gang are not to be missed.

We just didn't like the food at CM. We will not return unless there's dractic change in quality.
