CP schedule all changed around....

Went to the Disney site this am, as I do every morning. We have a ps for CP on the 22nd of December. At first it was Gary Sinise, then it was open for a long time. Now it is Jim Caveziel!!!!! The whole list is changed around, adding John Stamos and Jacqui Valesquez (a GREAT Christian artist!!!) I am happy we will see Jesus, if they don't change it again, but I would love to see either of them either....Way to go Disney!!!

I saw this also. Although I was scheduled for Jim caveziel. I'm a little disappointed because I originally wanted to see Cicely Tyson but someone suggested I would really like Jim C. so I booked a CP package around him. I have no idea who Jaci is. I went to her website yesterday to try and figure it out. I gathered she is a Christain artist but when I was poking around her website she did not seem appealing to me.

I've not been to CP before I'm wondering how much it matters who the "celebrity guest" is would matter in the whole experience? I would try to change it but it would be difficult to do because of other plans already made. I'm excited about going but this would not have been my choice of nights based on the current schedule. Oh well. that's the way it goes sometimes.

Jennwdw, to answer your question, NO, it really doesn't matter that much who the narrator for the CP is. They all read the same bible passages,and really the music, candles and pagentry of the show is a big part of it and always FANTASTIC! We have been once before, early December 1999. We did not schedule a package, not sure if they even did them then. We got seats without much waiting and Brian Dennehy was the narrator. It was great, we really enjoyed ourselves. We have always wanted to see a narrator that our kids would be familiar with, like LeVar Burton (we still watch old Reading Rainbow videos!) Dh was dissapointed the Gary cancelled, but I think Jim will be great. We are Evangelical Christians, and I feel that if the narrator is a true believer they will perform with more emotion. Jaci definitely falls into that catagory. She is the real deal, and a cute girl and great singer to boot. I would have been happy with her or John Stamos (the kids know him from Full House!) We love contemporary Christian music, Steven Curtis Chapman is a favorite too. You will have a great time!!!!!
