CP Package w/children

I already had a PS for Biergarten for Dec.8. Since everyone raived about the CP I knew my parents and MIL would Love it, so I booked tickets for the CP with my original PS. My question is: Am I making a mistake with 8,6,3,1 yr olds? The CM said the kids would enjoy it. OR should I just wing it and hope we get a seat? Thanks alot!
