Anyone else book the CP Package when they first came out, not have their CC charged yet?? I called and the CM said everything was fine and "they will get around to charging the CC eventually."

I certainly do not want to get down threre and not have a PS or Package. It just doesn't sit well that they haven't charged it yet. Everything else (MVMCP, reservation deposits) was charged within a few days

I also booked the CP Dinner Package shortly after they first became available. My credit card hasn't been charged yet, either. But I'm not worried. For at least the past two years, it has taken Disney quite a while to process the charges for the CP DInner Packages. I think the initial crush is more than they can handle right away, but I am 100% positive that I'll get charged. :teeth: I won't be worried unless I don't see the charge by the end of this month. Then I'll call to confirm my PS is still in the computer.

I called yesterday and had to make a change on my CP ressie. I was afraid it would be a huge ordeal, but it had not been charged yet, and the CM told me that it isn't charged until 48 hours before the actual date of the CP? I'm not sure if that's right or not, but that's what she said.

I believe Praise2Him got the right information. Unlike the Christmas & Halloween parties, the CP is not a "hard ticket" event. You are able to cancel withing 48 hours--can't cancel the tickets for those parties. I would call back & check your confirmations if your nervous about your reservations.

If the process for this year is the same as the past few years, credit cards will get charged well before 48 hours ahead of the event. Disney is just a little backed up right now. Once again, a CM is misinformed and in this case is confusing the payment policy with the cancellation policy There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel or make a change more than 48 hours ahead of time, you will get a refund.

Once again, unless the process was changed for this year, credit cards will get charged very soon. In fact, I'm sure that some have already been charged.

I booked CP last year when first available but it wasn't until Sept 26 before they charged my credit card.

I booked my CP Dinner package on 8/20/02 and I still have not been charged. I have called twice and each time I was told not to worry that I had a reservation and that the resturants charge the credit cards and that they are a little backed up at this point, so I have tried no to worry, I do have a confirmation number and if by 9/20/02 it has not been charged I am going to call back.

I booked MVMCP for 12/20 and it got charged within a day or two and I already have my tickets for that.

This is our first Christmas Trip and we are so excited!!

Looks like Disney is slowly working their way through all those CP Dinner Packages. They finally got to me - I knew they would! :teeth: My credit card was charged on 9/18.

If your CC hasn't been charged yet, no need to worry! They will get to you soon!

This year we booked two CP packages first on 12/4 and second on 12/7. 12/4 CP package (Japan) was charged to my card 9/19, second package(Le Cellier) 12/7 has not been charged to my card yet. Called to see if second CP package was ok and CM said all was fine and second package was in system and would be charged in near future.ºoº:) :)

We booked the day CP became available and we have received 2 bank statements since then (our 2nd statement yesterday) and we have not been charged yet either...I called and they said they were just behind and not to worry and as long as you have your ressie/PS confirmation #, you are booked and everything is set.

Haven't been charged, either. I booked first day packages became available for December 24. I guess I won't worry too much. I do have my PS number. I'll keep checking, though.

They definitely charge you in advance, it just takes a while. Everyone who has a reservation now will be charged by late October or so at the latest.

As of Today 10/7/02 I have still not been charged ?? I just called and the CM said they will charge you when you pick up your package info ?? I know this is not correct but I wasn't going to argue with her about it.

Anyone STILL not been charged?? We booked the second day for 12/19.
