CP Melissa Here AT WL

HI! I wanted to tell everyone that I am having a wonderful CP experience here in Orlando. I am working at the WL in Roaring Fork, which I didn't think I'd like but actually love it. Last night we were so busy and I was on the register....we had a line into the hallway! YIKES! But it's really fun. I have been looking for lime green ribbons but have not seen any..so remember if you are at WL please come to see me. I also wanted you all to know I have requested an extension until Aug. 8, 2003.....so I may be here for quite some time. I will let you all know if and when I get it.

That's so neat! Glad you're having a good time. How did you get a job working in a resort? I'd love to do that if I ever did the CP, I love the resorts.

It was seriously luck getting to work at a resort. I was kinda hoping to work at a park. But now I am happy I didn't. If I had I never would have made the friends I have and I never would have never met Chris....he's one of the really good friends I have made. He's a full timer...and he's a bellman at WL....

We'll be at WLV from Dec 2-6 so I'm sure we'll be in roaring forks at least once or twice to refill those mugs.

You'll just have to make sure you're wearing the cast lanyard so we can trade pins.

You don't trade pins where you work? Is it not allowed? Maybe they are worried it would hold up the lines if you're at a cash register or something? I didn't realize that some CMs weren't allowed to do it.

Glad to hear that things are working out for you Melissa. I look forward to seeing you again during the first couple weeks of December. Are you going to be able to take any time off and participate in any of the DIScon mini-meets?

TC, when you gonna be at WL? Maybe we need to have a WL mini meet in front of the main fireplace for some hot cocoa.

Melissa - I have seen cast members in roarnig forks wearing lanyards, but that was at least a year ago, so they may have changed the policies. Maybe you can ask to borrow one some night.

I never walk the halls of WL without my pins. Twice I thought oh I don't need them and ran into CM's with great pins. It's a long walk back to WLV just to get those pins.

My PDA only has 8Mb of memory. I don't think it can hold much more. Perhaps we'll discuss plans when we get to WDW. I know that there are rumblings of a resort tour to check out all the holiday decorations. Perhaps we can coordinate with that group and make a special point to stop by and see Melissa.
