CP interview/a few Q's

hey guys im going to be submitting the application and attending the meeting at a local college i was wondering first of all is the interview process tough? and how long does it usually take to receive notice if youve been accepted.

Secondly, If accepted what is free time for the interns like? is there time to socialize and go out and what not? are there discounts to the parks or any other additional benefits? any info or additional info would be much appreciated thank you.

Even though you're going to the presentation at your school, watch the E prsentation on the site www.wdwcollegeprogram.com They answer a ton of questions on there, the E Presentation is like a little over a half hour in length.

first of all is the interview process tough?

no not at all, i had a phone interview and what is really great is the interviewers personality...they basicly calm you down with their voice. The type of questions depends upon which things you selected on your role check list. if you want to be in a character then they will ask you questions that pertain to that job....IE what if a child asks what is inside the costume....what would you do?

how long does it usually take to receive notice if youve been accepted.

I applied on the 29th of january and i have yet to recieve anything. so this year it is going really slow. But it will pick up with in days! (meaning the turn around time for apps.) i guess i had applied really early.

First, your free time dends upon where you work...IE if they are understaffed then you will work more hours. I think that there is time to socialize alot. when it comes to discounts....your ID badge will let you into the four parks for free throughout the whole CP program. as well as you get to let three park guest in (i think 8 or 9 times dont quote me). you get discounts off merchandise. There are two appartments...Vista Way, and Chatham Square, and i think there is another appartment complex opening up soon! The appartments are on the Disney property. Ummmm i think that is it. just ask any thing....i would be glad to help!

Hi there.
1) The interview is not that bad. The questions range from personal (why do you want to do the CP?) to questions about the roles you pick (attractions- what would you do if a kid wanted to ride Space Mountain but was too short?)

2) It differs. But I would call after 3-4 weeks.

3) It depends by season how much time you have off (slower time, more time off. Busier time, less time off). You are guaranteed a minimum of 35+ hours a week, and usually have 2 days off (though it may be only 1 day during more busier times).

4) Yes, you do get discounts.
