CP Hospitality phone interview

Hello Everyone!

I am planning on applying for Fall Advantage 2013 college program and my top three choices are probably going to be Hospitality, Bell Service/ Dispatch, and Concierge. Does anyone have any advice on the phone interview? Thats the only thing that is really making me nervous.


Any advice would be helpful!!

be in a quiet place to talk. you'll get distracted if you're in a dorm room or living room filled with people. other than that, be honest. make sure you let your interviewer know any roles that you definitely don't want, because even though you put those as your top 3 they can give you anything if they choose to accept you.

Smile while you speak! It makes a big difference and the interviewer can hear it. Think about why you want to do the program and what the responsibilities are for the roles you apply for. Find a quiet place to do the interview and make sure there are no distractions around you. Don't use your cell phone for the interview. If you have any requests regarding work location make them now. Remember, these are REQUESTS and you may not even get the role you want.

The system typically works where your able to schedule a phone interview within two weeks. Depending on the time of season though, it could possibly be beyond this.
