CP Freshman Year/Video Games

Hey everybody. Right now I'm a senior in high school and I'm really interested in doing the CP my freshman year of college. I would go to school for the first few months and then do the Spring program from January to May. Has anybody else done this their freshman year? Is it a good idea? Also, whenever I go, could/should I bring my LCD TV with my Playstation 3 and Rock Band? Idk if I could live without it! Thanks for the help!

You're a splitting image of me! I'm a freshman now and I'm currently in the program. I did one semester of college then came down here. I haven't come across many other freshmen here, but I'm sure there's more. I also brought my LCD and PS3! I think we'd be best friends, haha.

Nope, not at all. I actually applied on the first day of school! I told everyone and my school has never even heard about the CP, so I'm the first and only one. Unfortunately I'm not getting any credits for the classes, just the internship itself. But they were cool with it.

I did. I did my first CP after 1 semester (and ended up extending it, so I was in FL Jan-Aug). For me, it was a great idea. I had never been away from home so long before (I live at home), so it was useful for me living on my own.

Oh go right ahead! I love bringing my video games with me!

Thanks guys, this has been a lot of help. Sad thing is... I still need need to wait a whole nother year!!! Come on time go faster... I really want to move to warm Orlando. (The high for Thursday here is -2 degrees)

I feel your pain. My mom says that Thursday is only gonna be 9 back home with a low of -6!

I can't speak about the Freshman part, but I will say that when I arrive in a few weeks, I will be bringing my Wii.
