CP early breakfast--RD holding???

Can someone explain exactly how it works if you have an early ADR for Crystal Palace (like 0805), and rope drop/entry?

Assuming youre done eating-- is the holding area for MK right near CP, so you just walk out and join the masses waiting for RD??? or do you wait somewhere else, or...what?

I'd like to do an early breakfast on our Sunday of our KTTK tour--but run (ok fast walk) to grab a FP for Space when the park opens. It's supposed to reopen THAT DAY!!! so I'm hoping that happens on schedule and we can get a FP to use after the tour.

Either way--what happens to you after you eat and before RD??

We had an 8:05 at CP and were the first party seated. We finished and walked out at about 8:45 to 8:50. Everyone else is being held back by the train station so Main street is empty. We took some pictures in front of the castle which was great because there was no crowds in them. Then, we walked up through the castle and there was a rope on the other side of the castle. People who had been at the CP and at CRT waited together at that rope. The people were let go at the train station and began walking(some running) up main street and it was almost scary! They then dropped our rope. I would say we probably had about a 100 yard head start on the people who had been at the regular rope drop.

It is my understanding that the process can be slightly different though on some days. I think it has to do with whether there is a show on the castle forecourt stage. They sometimes have the castle blocked and you have to walk around it. I would think that you would still be ahead of most of the people at the regular rope drop though. Hope that helps!

That was our experience in March as well.
