Can anyone who has done it year's past tell me what the pre-purchased meal includes?? Is it just an entree or do you get an appetizer, soup/salad and/or desert?? Also do you choose from the regular menu or is it a special menu?

Believe it or not I called WDW-DINE twice and both time were told they don't have that information in their system, so I was wondering at least what has been the case in the past.

Vcasey.... That's odd that WDW-Dine didn't have info, we reserved our CP for 11/29 (Le Cellier) this past Saturday, no problem! Anyway we did this back in 11/00 and it was wonderful! (Japanese Restaurant) And yes, you get to order off the regular menu appetizer to dessert. My DH made the reservation so I'm not a 100% that he called WDW-Dine. I don't think there's another number you need to call for that!

Two Eeyores , they were absolutely happy to make the PS and take my credit card but they said they just didn't know what the meal would include (I thought that was bit strange too). I've never done the CP package before so I don't know what to expect either.

Funny that you did Japan last year and are doing Canada this year, those were the 2 we were trying to decide between and I just wanted to make sure we could get our favorites and that DD would be able to get steak as a child, (which is on both restaurants children's menu) and neither time I called were the people very helpful. Not sure but I'm getting the impression I must have reached fairly new CMs.

They do have the info in their system - they just didn't know how/where to look for it. The dinner package includes choice of an appetizer (or salad or soup), an entree and a dessert. You order from the regular dinner menu. The price quoted to you includes a gratuity. The price charged to your credit card includes the tax as well.

Here is a link to some add'l info for the CP dinner packages from WDWIG:

The Candlelight dinner packages are a great deal! We did it last year and this year we are returning with the whole family as their Christmas present! We opted for the Japaneses Steak House and we ordered right off the regular menu. I had a scallop appetizer ($6.95), steak and lobster ($30.95) and some type of cake ($4.50) You add it up and you'll see that the package deal is the way to go. Plus you get to sit in a special section in front of the theater w/o waiting. Enjoy!

Everyone, thanks for providing the details I needed, now to decide which restaurant: Le Cellier or Teppanyaki. Decisions, decisions:confused:  :)
