Trying to figure this out and plan. My DS has extended his CP program. I have read that he does 'not ' get additional family /friends passes...only the 6 . However I need clarity on this... I read that as a perk that CM's get Christmas passes. If this true, do CP's get them or just full-time CM? And what kind of passes are these ...regular admission???? Hope someone knows . We are planning 2 trips and the 6 will run out. But not complaining ...we are happy to have the tickets he can get.

They get winter passes but I have no idea if CPs get them or not. If so, it will likely be 2 1-day hoppers. That's it. Did he get the ones that they just gave out at the beginning of the month? If not then I guess CPs don't get the extra passes?

The "Christmas Pass" is part of the Holiday gift packet that arrives mid October - its a ticket good for three people to enter (with the CM) but it is subject to blackout dates. It is a park hopper.

The summer and winter passes that the previous OP mentioned are not a perk a CP receives.

He got the blue cards. I think one for him and 3 for guests. I think it is to replace the use of getting paper passes (guests) at a front entrance. Is that what you're talking about? I don't think it 'adds' any passes, but only replaces the old process. Do you have any different info? Thanks!

So this is in addition to the other comp tickets? Is it for 3 ppl flat out or does it match your maingate admissions?

No, they get other comp passes but I guess not CPs.

So...Do you think CP's will get the "Christmas Pass" also and how many days are they good for? Do you agree that it may be for 2 days? That would be great! We are going down the first week of December, as that is when DS's program ends. Do you think that will be a blackout time? We want to see Christmas decorations in the parks since we've never been there at that time of year. Also what about MVMCP? Are there any special passes for that? Or do you have to purchase them? We are going to MNSSHP (we've never been to that either) and it's our understanding that he has to purchase those ahead of time. Is that correct?

We're so excited! :dance3:
Thanks so much for your replies!

Mu daughtger got the "Christmas Pass" as a CP, part time and full time CM BUT I wouldn't call it a Christmas Pass but more of a Christmas (or as DIsney refers to it as a Holiday Celebration gift) It's a separate card that is good ONE time to allow three people in along with the CM. I don't think the first week of December but I can't say for sure. CMs can but discount tickets for some days of MVMCP and that will be on The Hub when it's released. For the CM to get the discount they need to buy them in advance in certain locations. Same goes for the Halloween Party.

CM Ticket overview:

All CMs get a Main Entrance Pass and 3 Guest Passes (FT/PT may receive more than 3 based on their dependents) - this replaced the former Main Entrance Passes.

CPs & Seasonal - get 6 entries a calendar year; no additional entries are given if a CP extends their program within the same Calendar Year.

Under the old entrance system All CMs received a Holiday Packet which included 1 additional day of park entry for 3 Guests (+ dependents). It is unknown at this time how (and if) that benefit will work this year as the entrance process has changed for Cast Members. Until the holiday packets are mailed in October, we are not likely to know if the extra entry will still be given.

NON-CP Cast Members also receive on-line complimentary tickets, do not get mislead between the MEP and Comp Tickets.

Also what about MVMCP? Are there any special passes for that? Or do you have to purchase them? We are going to MNSSHP (we've never been to that either) and it's our understanding that he has to purchase those ahead of time. Is that correct?

All CMs are able to purchase holiday party tickets at a discount through the Cast Member Company D stores (these cannot be purchased at the parks). Company D stores have limited hours of operation and are not open 7 days a week. Not all nights are available for the discounted tickets, specific dates are listed on the Hub.
