I just noticed that CP is a buffet again. I don’t know how I missed that. I looked at the menu and they don’t list the kids selections like they used to have. Can anyone confirm that they do have these?

We were there in November (lunch). There is still a kid's section. We really enjoyed some of the "Walt's favorites" that were added to the buffet!

The kids section was there in the fall. There was Mac n cheese, pizza, chicken tenders/nuggets and mini beef quesadillas. Along with other desserts, they also had soft serve ice cream, sprinkles and cookies.

How was the food ? I’ve heard mixed reviews
We actually really enjoyed it. It’s not fine dining, but for a buffet we thought it was a step-up from other Disney ones we have been to in the past. A lot of the “Walt’s favorites” were good. The prime rib, short ribs, green beans and mashed potatoes were all tasty, I also enjoyed many of the desserts, especially the apple cobbler.

The Walt's favorites were delicious!!! The prime rib and the country fried chicken with white gravy were amazing. And the apple cobbler was the best cobbler I've ever had. (Maybe I was hungry??)

I forgot about that fried chicken—it was really good.

Last time we did Crystal Palace was about 6 years ago, and we felt it was much better this time around than our last time there. The Walt's favorites (short ribs, mashed potatoes, green beans with bacon, fried chicken with pepper gravy) were our favorites. They also had these individually prepared seafood bowls with shrimp cocktail and crab claws in them which the seafood eaters in our group enjoyed. Didn't really care for the main fish dish or cheesy broccoli, wife didnt love the risotto, but said it was ok. Kids section had mini pizzas, mini beef quesadillas, chicken fingers and mac and cheese. Kids enjoyed all of them. Desserts we tried were all good and the kids liked making their own ice cream sundae with jimmies. Definitely get the cobbler.

There was also a small salad bar where you could make your own salad. It was basic, but tasty along with the rolls, honey butter & corn bread. There was also a make your own chili and make your own tater tot bar that were okay. Agree about the broccoli. It sounded good, but was watery and just okay. Only things we really didn’t like were the seasonal ravioli and the pork belly.
