Cozy Cone Ice Cream

DO NOT get the chocolate dip on your ice cream if having it in a cone. It springs leaks all over and then you have ice cream dripping all over the place. What a mess!

Weird, I've done it several times and didn't have a problem.

How interesting. Maybe they were having trouble with the temperature of the chocolate or something when you visited. I too have had several dipped Cozy Cone soft serves and encountered no drip issues. The vanilla soft serve is absolutely heavenly. It is a new "must have" DCA treat for me.

We always get the chocolate dip on the ice cream at cozy cone. Never had a leaking problem and we all love it! I say everyone should get it!

We make sure to ask the CMs to dip the chocolate all the way down below the edge of the cone to prevent the leaks. Haven't had problems with that so far.

These were leaking from little holes that sprang up all over it, not just at the base. It was weird.

We had this type of thing happen once when we got the dipped cones from Sam Andreas Shakes, the place that was near Bugsland before the big remodel. The problem then was a combination of not-cold-enough, too-soft soft-serve and too-cool chocolate. Made a terrible mess but was still delicious. You may have just caught the Cones at a bad time unfortunately like we did with our experience at Sam Andreas.

Never had them there but I do have experience with dipped cones -- worked at Dairy Queen for almost 5 years. lol

Their dip would have been too hot so it doesn't seal properly and causes the ice cream to melt faster than it normally would. It's a sloppy mess when this happens.
