cozumel jewelry shopping recommendations

Last time we were in cozumel I had a specific piece in mind that we got at diamonds international, I knew what I was looking for and where to get it. This time I am just looking for an unusual piece, does anyone have recomendations on other jewelers?

Ann, sorry I don't, but there was a thread a long time ago about how a Dis'er went to a store not listed by Disney on the shopping in paradise thing, and later their credit card was being used all over Cozumel. Just be careful about where you go, and how you pay. I purchased from Diamonds international a couple of times, and never had a problem.

Ann....I don't know the name of the store but if you walk past Calos and Charlies across the street the is a shopping are you turn right into a shopping street.....You will pass a "pool bar". Go to the end on the left. They were the most "negotiable". All the jewelery is marked up HUGE!!! Good luck.....Remember.....negotiate 'till they let you walk out.....if they let you leave you have done the best.....

Hi AnnMorin,
I'd recommend Tanya Moss for some unusual and beautiful jewelry. I got a piece from her "children's" line and they put it on a longer cord for me. This particular line of jewelry is unique, as Tanya took drawings by children and made them into jewelry. She works in silver, coral, etc. One store is at the bottom of the walkway (next to the taxi stand...the round building) and one store is mid-way down the strip. Good luck!
