Cozumel hurricane damage ?

I have been reading about how bad Cozumel was hurt during the hurricanes last year. Currently one of our stops is at Cozumel and I wanted to do a snorkeling excursion. I am worried that it won't be good since the reefs were so heavily damaged. Any thoughts out there on this? I read somewhere that over 60% of the reefs were damaged. If snorkeling is out, what is left to do?

Hi Susan!!

I'm guessing that no one on these boards will be able to help much since the DCL cruises have not been going. Someone mentioned that DCL was going to attempt Coz. in April so maybe we can find out.

We're still planning on our excursion to snorkel even with the damage. But if you are looking for things to do, mini-golf, Mr. Sanchos, visit the ruins (I've heard people really like this) or maybe do a beach day. Of course there is shopping!!!
