Cozumel Excursions

The current list of Cozumel excursions doesn't include anything on the mainland (discussed in another thread). We've been before and done excursions to Mayan sites, which we really enjoyed; however, this time there doesn't seem to be anything like that on offer. Has anyone done the Mexican Cuisine Workshop and Tasting culinary excursion? We're not wedded to an excursion, but if there's something you've done recently and would recommend we would love to hear about it. Also we're not opposed to skipping a planned day and just going into town for some shopping or whatever. TIA for help/suggestions.
