Cozumel - Chankanaab

Anyone do this on their own? Is it easy to just do Chankanaab on your own? Anything to be concerned about doing this?

Easy to do on your own. Hop into a taxi at the port. You can make arrangements for them to return to pick you up, but there will be taxis waiting at Chankanaab also.

I guess if you do the Dolphin Swim on your own, you risk the chance of weather cancellations whereas if booked through DCL, they maintain that risk.

We did it on our own. SO much better than DCL's cattle call. We got in and out way ahead of the Disney folk. Would do again. Both less money and less stress to do on own. Taxis were Right there to take you from port to Chankanaab and back.
