Just wondering if anyone has done this on their own?? DH and I are wanting to go there to snorkel and look at the botanical gardens and maybe see the sea lion show. Just wondering if it is worth the trip and how the snorkeling compares to other Cozumel sights.

Also has anyone tried the Mexican vanilla?? If so, how does it compare with the regular vanilla we are used to in the States?

Thanks!

Thanks!

A neighbor brought some back for me from a mission trip and it is absolutely wonderful!

Me and my family went and saw the Sea Lion/bird show. My dd's aged 3 and 5 loved it. Afterwards, my dd 5 and myself swam with the Sea Lion. It was loads of fun. I think it was $60 each, but well worth the money. We went to the park on a Disney excursion, but the Sea Lion swim was on our own. The park itself is beautiful, but since we did the swim, we didn't get to see much else. I wish now that I had bought some vanilla, but I guess that just means I need to go back again!! :D

The vanilla is excellent. We purchased ours at the grocery store in Cozumel, along with some tequila and other things. Cheaper than picking it up in the tourist shops. There is a Sedanos about two blocks further than the forum shops. Very easy to get to.

Enjoy!
