Hi all:flower3:
We have plans for the week before New Years:goodvibes. We are driving from CT and my daughters a teacher. We'll need to be tested.
I wasn't sure if this is the right forum to ask this question but i was wondering if there is a testing site near by that we can get tested before we head back to CT. We'll be staying on site if that helps.

:thanks:
Liz

Disney World ha a testing site that I believe is available to anyone. It's near or at Team Disney over by Disney Springs. You will have to search for the exact address and hours.

Thank you so much!!

You don't need to be tested before going. Entering the parks, you will have your temperature taken. If you have symptoms, stay away. There has been no outbreak with WDW opening 2 months ago. Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.

A few of us were having a conversation about this site on another forum. 72 hours for results. One would have to get tested 3 days before. Double check it's open to everyone.

Even if result is negative, one could get COVID - the day or two after getting tested. One would still be in Florida or any other place before heading home. Not sure what this would accomplish.
It's just a conversation and trying to understand it all. We plan to quarantine when we get back.

It would be great to get tested right before leaving - driving home - little to no contact with anyone - wearing mask/distancing and staying put once home until results were in.

Good luck - hope you get to go!!!

Im not trying to make it complicated!! I need to have a negative test before we enter back INTO CT.so i needed to know where we could get a test before we head home
Thank You

RIght now, all testing sites are free. You should click on the site on the map for details. Many require an appointment. The big regional site at the Convention Center does not - first come first serve in your car. It remains to be seen if they will change things to charge for rapid testing when those come to the sites.

Do you happen to know if sites are charging for the rapid test or ins will cover? Thank you for the info. I would hate to have my daughter have to self quarantine. They need her at school. Shes an amazing Special Ed teacher. We've been so careful these past 7 months :goodvibes

Thank You
No idea sorry. Check the website

Yes Thank You. I now need to find out the logistics for CT and her return to work. if we go on Tuesday when we're down there and we go have the test on Tuesday(leaving Friday that week) and that comes back negative is that good enough for CT? will we have to have another test when we get back home??😕 I have to research this more LOL Also do you know how youre notified of the results> Hopefully the rapid will be ready by the time we go That they let you know right then
This is all so crazy:guilty:
Thank you again for your help

CT requires a negative test to enter back in> so if a rapid test is available that would be great. Then once we're back home not sure. Governor is changing protocols all the time. Im just concerned that my daughter will be able to get back to teaching when we're home 😕
