I went to the theater tonight
and I was surprised how well arranged everything was. A few days ago, I got an e-mail from the theater telling me that my table number was 61 and that I could enter the theater between 6:30 and 6:45 (7;00 show). When I entered, disinfecting my hands, till you sit down keep your mask on, go the bathroom at home (if possible).
When I got to auditorium, they had transformed the theater. They had removed most of the seats, creating short rows. each row had a table with the drinks you could pre-order. There were at least three seats between all the groups. They also had removed every alternating row. There was staff everywhere to make sure people stayed where they were.
The show itself was a shortened version of show of last year. You could tell that they had cut most of the story to fit it into 1.15 hours, without an intermission. But it is a show based on popular Dutch songs of the 60/70/80s, so the story never was very important. The people sang well and it was just great to be out for a night.
When the show was over, they announced to stay seated. And the theater staff guided sections of the audience out of the theater.
