Ok, I'm cheap and I embrace it. What things are free at the cove cafe?

They update snacks in their case all throughout the day. They have cakes & such during the day and then switch to cheeses at night.

They also have magazines and books you can borrow.

Yes, you just pay for the drinks! I regret not getting around to eating here on our cruise, but I did walk past the case and it all looked so yummy!

I think the switch from pastries to savories is at 4 pm, in case you're having a late afternoon sugar craving. The bartender graciously checked in the back and found a few leftover sweets for us when we were heading to an afternoon show.
