Hi All,

I read some Yelp reviews about there being secret menu drinks at the Cove Bar. So far I have been able to identify the following drinks, but I would love to know if there are more!!

  • Zombie - It’s 4 or 5 different types of rum mixed with orange juice and some other tropical juices.
  • Black Pearl - It is like a Long Island Iced Tea, but instead of Coke, Sprite is used and it’s topped off with Chambord
  • Melrose Place - ??? Anyone know???
  • Mickey's Fun Wheel - This drink is basically like an AMF, with vodka, gin, tequila, rum, and blue curaçao but with lemonade and some sort of magical pink liquid added to the mix.

Also, since if you have info to add about this secret menu you may also have other useful tips about the Cove Bar...so what else should I know? Is viewing WOC from there still a viable option?

Thanks!

Oh I like the sound of the Melrose Place but I like the colours of Mickeys fun wheel

Is Cove Bar an evening, adults only place? Or is it open during the day so we (including our 8 y/o) can grab apps at lunch? Dying to try the Black Pearl now :)

Everything I have read, kids are allowed. They can't sit at the bar but they can at the tables.

^ Yup!

And for what it's worth, these aren't drinks that are exclusive to the Cove Bar. Don't quote me on it, but I believe any of the locations that have that same menu can do this, but I've always gotten my two favorites (Black Pearl and Fun Wheel) I've gotten from a few different places - Hearthstone Lounge at the Grand is one of my favorites.

Oh, sweet, good to know! We are staying at the Grand so I will definitely be at Hearthstone :)

So thanks to this thread I actually made a change in my usual favorite (Fun Wheel or Black Pearl) when I took my mother to Cove Bar today and I tried the Melrose Place. I definitely enjoyed it, and from what I remember when I asked what was in it, it's a Long Island base, strawberry puree, and I forget the rest other than there was some type of wine in it.

Hope that helps at all, lol. Next time I'm trying the Neverland Tea. She mentioned something else that I hadn't heard of and doesn't seem to be listed above but I can't remember :(

How on Earth did I not know about the Cove Bar? 3 trips in the last 2 years (soon to be 4) and it eluded me! Guess I know where we're going for lunch one day!

Ohhh the Melrose Place is sounding better and better. Will have to add Neverland Tea to my list to check out. Thanks for the report!!

Oooh, what's in a Neverland Tea? I'm going to have to make time in the trip to try a few of these!

It's a long island base with peach schnapps and 7-up I believe is what someone told me (not directly from Cove Bar so I'm not sure how accurate that is).

Thank you! Wow, another one that sounds really good. How did all of these drinks end up as 'secret'?!

When it comes to secret menus, jamba juice menu is on the top of my list. All their products are healthy and their special ingredients make their products tasty too and I always feel refreshed after having them. Don’t know how others feel.

Does anyone know how much the drinks on the secret menu cost? Also, any idea how much a beer on tap is there (typically)? I should know this from our last trip but my receipt is long gone...
