Yep, we ate there for lunch in May. They have sandwiches and wraps and salads I believe. But, it's only cold food, no grill or anything like that. Basically, they have a big wall cooler of prepared/pre-packaged cold items.
They also had chips to go with the sandwiches as well.
There are kids meals. Our kids had the turkey sandwiches which came with grapes and a juice box but I think you can choose carrots or something else.
Another option for eating at the Cove Bar is to order hot items from the "room service" menu. They have a hot item menu at the bar and after you order they give you a card for your table and one of the room service or other restaurant people bring it to you at the Cove Bar. We never did this but the family sitting next to us did so. The food did look good but was pricey.
OR... you can make the very short walk over to the grill at the Contemporary's main pool and get grill items (hot dogs, burgers, chicken, fries etc) and bring it back over to the BLT. It's like a 1 minute walk between the 2.
We also used the Cove Bar as a quick and cheap way to feed the kids in our room before we had a babysitter for the evening. One of us went down, got 2 kids meals and brought them back to the room. He and I then enjoyed eating our way around the world showcase at Epcot that night.
Hope this helps!
