We settled on staying at the Hojo, but I do like to go to Starbucks while on vacation. I read on here somewhere that there is a Starbucks in the Courtyard Marriott waterpark hotel. Is it true? Do they take the phone app? I have tried to find it through the Starbucks app with no luck.

Really? How awesome!

We will be staying at HoJo too! In the past, we have always gone to the Starbucks just on the other side of I-5 in the mornings. Now DH can just walk across the street! Yay!

I think the Courtyard's restaurant (the Bistro) still serves Starbucks coffee, but I don't think it's a full-fledged Starbucks inside the Courtyard. Based on the on-line menu, they serve the basic drinks, but it is a limited menu.

I remember my roommate bringing back a Starbucks drink when we stayed there (and she went downstairs to get breakfast), but I didn't ask her how she paid. My guess is that because it's one of those "we serve Starbucks" types places, they probably don't take the app/Starbucks Gift Cards. I would try calling the Courtyard to get more information.

I have spent many a night in dozens of Courtyards and not speak directly to the Courtyard Theme Park Property but typically the Courtyard Bistro's serve Starbucks but they do not have full service location like you would think of a Starbucks. It is just an automatic expresso machine and they can do basic flavored hot and iced expresso drinks but that is about it beyond the drip coffee.

They do not take Starbucks gift cards or the app for payment.

Ok, good to know! I looked at Starbucks.com and they do not list a location at the Courtyard on their website. Although, Courtyard's website does make it sound like they have a Starbucks. The Starbucks on the north side of 1-5 is about a 1 minute drive from HoJo so pretty easy and quick to access. Gone are the days of no Starbucks while at Disneyland.....:)

Unrelated but I remember the first time I went to WDW and the only Starbucks was at the Orlando airport! I bit too far for the morning coffee run!

Yeah...just and expresso machine and 4-5 syrup bottles. The Bistros have food but not Starbucks food.

If you just want a vanilla latte they are great to have on site which is more than most hotels have, but they do not have a typical Starbuck drink menu.

There are also full-fledged Starbucks in both DL and DCA, as well as DTD. Those take the App/Starbucks Gift Cards (although you can't order ahead via the app for the two Starbucks in the parks).
