Hi,

I was just wondering if Ishould request a specific room location at the Marriot. I would like to be up high in order to enjoy the fireworks from dtd's pleasure island. What are your thoughts and comments.

I am sure you could request something at check in. I don't know that the off site hotels are as accomodating with room or view requests as Disney.

When we stayed there we got the corner room on the top floor. It was great for watching the fireworks and seeing WDW.

It never hurts to request a room - no hotel will confirm that for you now, but they will note the reservation with your request (and usually will do what they can to accommodate that for you).
