We stayed in a tower room at the Courtyard last year, but this year, I'm going with my sister who doesn't like elevators. Soooooo I was wondering what, if any, differences there are between the two kinds of room~other than the obvious ;) Are the "wing" rooms as big, clean. . . . . ? Any insight-positive and negative-would be most welcome! Thanks!

I have only stayed in the 5th floor wing room last August at the CBM. The room was spacious, clean and we liked it well enough that we're returning next week! There was an additonal sink outside the bathroom, and a balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. I have requested a view of DTD and fireworks this time, so perhaps we'll end up in the tower. I really enjoyed our stay here last year. The staff was just superb!

Thanks for the reply, Deb. And I agree with you about the staff-even maintenance were friendly as they passed us by! We'll be there in less than a week now, too!

I have stayed in both and don't recall many differences. I think the wing room I was in only had one sink, but it was outside the bathroom.

I stayed there last April and don't recall many differences either between the tower and wing rooms. I stayed in a tower room which was nice - my only complaint was that the room wasn't very sound proof. I could hear some of the traffic outside and some noise from other rooms and needed to turn on the room fan to drown out the noise.

Another plus is that it is within walking distance to DTD.

I just got back and I had a wonderful time, too. The wing is 6 floors high ans "L" shaped with the rooms facing the pool.

The tower is 14-floors (really 13 because thee is no 13th floor).

After I finish my work stretch, I'll try to post a full report with pictures.

God bless, best wishes, and encouragement, RaySharpton:)
