Just wondering how your stay was.We are heading down there this weekend and wanted to know if the rooms were clean and how was the shuttles to the parks. If you have just returned please let me know about your trip.

Thanks Ticketwm35

I think the $20.03 rate people start rolling in this weekend. I'll be there Monday! From what I've seen on these boards, you have nothing to worry about, so enjoy not paying an arm and a leg for a nice room!:Pinkbounc

I stayed at the courtyard two years ago. It was an average hotel but I was happy because I paid $25.00 per night. The only drawback is the transportaion provided by the DTD area hotels. It took us approximately 1hour and 15minutes to get to the Magic Kingdom due to the pickup at other hotels and traffic etc... If you not in a hurry the buses will be fine but otherwise it might be a good idea to walk to DTD and take the disney bus to a resort and then transfer to your park. Hope you enjoy your trips.

:)

Our experience last August was that the DTD transportation was fine to the parks, more limited to the water parks with two trips daily. While the buses did serve all the DTD hotels, they ran on a schedule. The Marriott is the second stop, so we were always able to get a seat. If we were returning to the hotel, we sometimes took Disney transportation to DTD, and for us (perhaps slower than others) it took 15 minutes from the Disney bus stop to the hotel.

We are eagerly awaiting this year's trip!

I stayed at CbM for one night 7/30/03. The room was large and very clean. Staff was helpful. I was the only one in the room, but, it had two double beds and two sinks, plenty big enough for four people.

I took the bus to the hotel from TTC after using Lynx to get there, then round trip to the MK and to Epcot to transfer to the Dolphin the next day. No problems at all. Drivers were all helpful and friendly. Busses left and arrived on time. Leaving the MK after closing, there was always a bus pulling in after the last one left.

If they have the 20.+ rate next year, at the right time, I will be staying there again.

Daisimae ;-)

We just got back 8/4. I asked for a room in the tower facing away from the highway. We got a very large, very clean room with two double beds and two sinks. We were in the corner right next to the vending machines (but we could not hear any noise from that when the door was closed). While we were not directly facing the highway, we were kid of kitty corner to it and it was LOUD. Even with the balcony door closed, the traffic noise bothered me (but not my husband). If you can get it, I would ask for a DD view. Then you would really be away from the highway. We paid $29 on priceline and I felt the hotel was worth every penny (I would be willing to pay up to $40 for this hotel) It was clean and cheery. The staff (for the most part) was friendly and helpful. Overall a very good experience.
Sorry, I can't speak to transportation. We rented a car.
