Courtyard by Marriott on Hotel Blvd. - $49!

I received an advertising email today from the Courtyard by Marriott on Hotel Blvd. Our trip isn't until May, so we can't take advantage of this offer. It's not the $20 rate of the past summer, but it's still a great rate for a great location! Maybe it will be extended!
Here's what it says:

These great rates are available 7 days a week, but your stay must include at least one weekday night (Sunday-Thursday). Hurry, because this offer must be booked by October 22.

Thanks for the information. How did you like the Wyndham Palms? Everyone posting seems to like it.

After reading such rave reviews, I decided not to post my opinion of Wyndham Palms. It was "ok", but I really do prefer a hotel over a condominium. Having to make beds, clean bathrooms and take out garbage is NOT on my vacation agenda. I also prefer an onsite restaurant for breakfast, which they do not have. But then I realize that most people who stay there, cook! We did not use the kitchen. I will say that the rooms were nicely appointed and the master bedroom was wonderful with the inroom whirlpool. Our bldg. was closer to the entrance and the pool was a distance...driving distance, not close enough to walk to. And, it was just a pool, nothing special. I won't be choosing a condominium or any time share any time soon. We've already booked at the Dolphin for our trip in May...still looking for another property to split our stay.
