Just curious as to whether or not any resorts have courtesy wheelchairs for short term use for guests. For example, ECV pick up scheduled night before flight. Could use wheelchair to get to room from lobby (wheelchair would be returned immediately by mobile member of family).
Thank you

The resorts have very limited wheelchairs for emergency guest use. Expect they will push you to your room and not leave the chair with you.

another way could be take ECV to room leave rider there and family member takes to meet/return ECV. how is that person going to get to flight? meaning how going to get to transportation to airport in the morning?

Scooterbug will let you pick up from, and return to, bell services. You have to decide if that convenience outweighs issues some have with Scooterbug.

Alternatively change your resort. Companies like Gold can use bell services at Swan, Dolphin, Reserve and DS hotels.

My husband had had two bad experiences using ScooterBug and will not use them again - he’s sticking with Gold Mobility going forward.
We are DVC owners so Swan, Dolphin, etc are not options.
We’ll continue to request room near the lobby and may start to bring his rollator with us to WDW. That would also help in getting from the room to the shuttle when leaving for the airport.
Thank you all for your responses

Try to arrange your flights so Gold can meet you when you arrive and depart.
