coupons - how much saved this week?

I'm so excited - I saved $50 with coupons and $15 in "shopper club" card discounts this last week at the grocery store!

What's the most you've saved on a grocery trip?

the most i have ever saved was probably in the $80 range, a little over 1/2 my grocery bill...i love it when that happens, as the cashier has to get an override to complete the transaction i have saved so much!

Last week I got $300 in groceries at Publix for $90. The previous best week I had was $245 in groceries for $40. I love Publix!

My biggest savings was not at the grocery, but I have to post anyway...Gymboree is having a sale and I had an additional savings coupon. I paid $69 and saved $65. When I got home I added up the original price of all the clothing...$288!

Another Publix fan. Two weeks ago I saved more than I spent - savings of about $80 and spent around $65. I'm not sure if I've ever done that before!

Not this week but the last Kmart doubles up to $4.00 I started out owing

That was sweet!! I had brought my DH who usually when I talk about my coupons and savings. But when he saw that he started listening to me!

I saved $65 at the commissary last week. I often save more than I spent at publix. I love double coupons! One time I saved $150 and spent $75. The cashier couldn't believe it.

First trip -- paid $81 and saved $104
Second trip -- paid $18 and saved $34

This is coupons (triple this week) and store specials. My goal always is a minimum of 50% savings. We eat well, too. We're having pork tenderloin, fresh asparagus and red-skinned potatoes for dinner tonight.

I envy ALL of you!

We don't have double or triple coupons in Chicago. I never even heard of that until I started reading this board!

The best I have ever done was saving $30 on a $60 purchase. I couldn't believe that I did so good!
