Coupons for Brave?

Why have they not released the coupon yet? I am thinking they aren't this time and I really have no urge to go out on Thanksgiving for just a movie.

So I checked the Target BF ad for Brave and it looks like it's only the DVD, not the 3-disc?

I looked at the adscan for Target and yes, the image I see is for the DVD only.

If you shop at disneystore.com they are doing a promo if you pre-order the Blue-ray combo pack you get $20 off a future online purchase of $40 or more, or a $10 off a future purchase of less than $40. So if you know you will be buying something from disneystore.com if the future, you can save some money by pre-ordering Brave.

Hmmm, wonder what the chances are that this will be sold out on Black Friday? Do you think the stores are ordering extra copies because it's going so cheap or it'll just be whatever is leftover from the 11/13 sale.

I hate to pay more but with the rebates and hopefully a Disney coupon, it could be about the same price now and a guarantee that it is in stock.

Or do I buy on Tuesday and then return with receipt if I can pick up one cheaper on Black Friday?

What is your strategy on this?

or maybe I'm just thinking too much...:rotfl2:

Usually, movies, games, etc., that are offered at a lower price on BF are shipped in a certain quantity and have a special bar code on them so that they will scan at that price. Meaning, you can still usually go in, grab the wrong copy, and pay the regular price, because it has to be a "specially marked package" to get the deal. YMMV.

Thank you for the info!

I think I will buy from Walmart to get the Angus plush on Tuesday, but not open it. Then if I can get one of $9 on BF, I'll just return the other.

At least the blu ray combo pack looks to be less than $20 (at least at Walmart). Usually when they have the coupon, the movies are $22.99 so maybe the stores are pricing it less because there is no coupon and they still want people to buy it.

I was thinking the same thing. But none of the other stores are coming close to Walmart, nd they have a cute plush, too.

I'm not going to mess with Black Friday. Target's ad yesterday had the blu ray-dvd and a book for $19. I'm going to get that tomorrow.

Sams Club will have Brave blu-ray/dvd combo pack for $9.98 during BF.

TRU will have it for $15 during BF.

TRU online has it for $20 today - in store is $22, but they should PM their store or even WM since it's $19.

Best deal will be to purchase at TRU during BF - and preorder Nemo then and save $8. Now, that might be iffy - you should try to get a preorder card now. (I took one last time when I could not find neither Brave nor Nemo at my local store - looks like manager decided to pull the offer)

I personally will be returning the Brave preorder and getting it during BF - either at TRU or WM.

I'm not even messing with BF. Plus I want to watch the movie today :rotfl2: We saw it at the drive in this summer and someone's SUV hatch took up a huge chunk of the screen so it wasn't the best viewing experience.

I can't decide if I want the plush with the movie from WM or the book with the movie from Target. DD has so many stuffed animals already, but the book that came with Tangled from Target was nothing special so I have a feeling the Brave book is the same.

:woohoo: My morning email included a shipping notification from Amazon! My 5-disc 3D/Blu-ray/DVD+Digital Copy is currently out for delivery!

I ordered back in July, applied an $8 discount coupon and Amazon has automatically adjusted the price downward as the price dropped on their website. Final cost for me will be $21.19 with tax ($19.99 + $1.20).

It's a rainy day here and I don't have to leave the house to get my copy. The UPS man should have it to me later this morning. I'm glad that I pre-ordered my copy back when I did. I knew that Amazon would reduce the price over time to stay competitive and I locked in that coupon when it was available.

I got an e-mail from Toys R Us today saying Brave DVD is $9.99 with coupon. You have to click under the Brave deal and a Toys R Us Coupon will pop up. It is only for DVD and only for today - it is one of their Deals of the Day. Micro Machines are also 50% off with coupon (click under Micro Machine ad) if anyone has that item on their wish list.

Just opened my email and TRU has a coupon for Deal of the Day. It is for the DVD and its 9.99 Today Only!

Woot Woot! Just got Brave for $10.82 from Toys R Us and will be picking it up later today! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

FYI....for anyone that is thinking of getting the Target book deal....the book is ATTACHED to the dvd case! It's on the inside and isn't a separate book. You would have to cut it out. If I had known that before, I wouldn't have bothered!!
