coupon train

I got my second one yesterday....thanks! Lots of useful stuff! I already sent this week on Tuesday, so should send again Mon or Tues of next week.

Sorry to hear the train is derailing at a few stops...hopefully it will be up and running again soon. :)

I am reading the posts....Dznybound :wave2: - u are delayed because Cinderanna is on vacation. So that will put a delay to everyone below u.
Also everyone below Taraprather will experience delays because Pamjb was on vacation. This will happen as ppl leave home or snail mail is just plain slow. This type of delay is expected as well as envies traveling across country. :rolleyes:

Also, as riders come and go (daily) the train changes. Some riders will get an envie quickly from a new rider, which in turn will take time to trickle down the line to other riders and may experience a few bumps along the way (as described above). If everyone agrees (& posts vacations, etc) I could pull them "temporarily" from the train. However, I wonder how much hassle and more delay that would entail? Plz post and let me know what the riders would like to do.

I would post the complete list but as it is CONSTANTLY changing, it would be wrong in almost 1 day. However, I am swapping riders to be closer in proximation and hopefully side track some of this slow mail we are experiencing. Please be on the lookout for new envie destinations.

I recived my first Envie on Tuesday of this week and it went back out on it's way to you on Wednesday of this week so be on the look out today. :thumbsup2
 

Hello riders :wave:
As I previously posted, I felt the need to restructure our train. Most if not all of you should have received new forwarding addresses. With new riders boarding and others being removed, our envies were cruising very long distances (in some cases). Re-routing the envies according to neighboring states hopefully will help the 'speed' of the train.
As of today, I am refraining from taking any "new" riders. This change will also help those who have been temporarily derailed due to vacationers/ hurricane evac./ or other delays. Your patience w/ delays are greatly appreciated. Realize that one rider's delay may offset the entire train's envie speed. I am waiting for feedback from riders on whether or not, you all would rather that I temporarily suspend vacation delayed riders until their return. I caution that you understand that doing so would entail you sending to another rider temporarily. Those of you who do not check our thread daily, could cause a delay regardless because of not knowing about the addie change. So please take that into consideration.
This week I had so many replacements, drops, and upon deciding to stop taking new riders, I have decided to go ahead and post the train order. IMPORTANT----PLEASE CK IM'S FOR NEW FORWARDING ADDRESSES!!!!!!

*Note* :teacher: Without mentioning names....I have aprroximately 8 riders who are not posting envie departures to the thread. Please CAUTION that not doing so could result in being removed from DisneyCho. I know that posting can be somewhat time consuming, but it allows fellow passengers to know if they are being left behind on the train or when to expect an envie's arrival. It also signals to me if or when a robber has possibly boarded. Don't be mistaken, plz post accordingly.

Hopefully this will help out and has not caused riders too much of an inconvience. I will try my hardest to keep us on this track and speeding along.

namsupak...I am now sending my envies to you so please check the thread since I do post updates almost daily and I usually send out my envie the next day after I recieve one.

As of Friday, Sept 8 I am still envieless so nothing to forward to you yet. I'll keep you posted.

Can we put a limit to how many hair coloring and dog food coupons? LOL I think I just got 5 dog and 4 hair coloring. Dont have a dog (unless you call 3 boys, {DH being the oldest} anilmals) and have a great stylist. :rotfl2:

Hey guys, I just wanted to share with you, that when you wait to pass on an envie it WILL slow a train down. With a cross country train sometimes it takes a whole week to reach a destination. (BUT, the beauty of a cross-country train is that you will get different variety and $$ amounts on your coupons, I love cross country trains best)
If you want the train to go smoothly, pick a day, say Tuesday, and mail every Tuesday whether you received or not. It might not be the whole 50 coupons... you can post to your receiver that your envie is light because you haven't received yet. THEN, when you do receive hold onto that one till the next Tuesday.
Just a thought, but I am sure you can see the chain reaction of what happens if EVERYONE waits for their envie EVERY week.

Be on the lookout for tearpad coupons, wine tag coupons, try me free forms (usually in tearpad form), blinkies, etc. those are GREAT coupons to include in your envelope. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to see what other people find out there.

Also, another thought I wonder if everyone received a master mailing (address) list, it would be easy to skip for vacations/illness and bumping non senders? It also would be less private PMs for our WONDERFUL conductor, she could just do a mass PM or email. It would be very easy also for us as riders to say hey, I haven't received or heard from *******(your sender), please ***** (the person above your sender) in over 2 weeks, would you skip her and send to me instead? OR, ****** would you please skip me this week and send to **** below me, I am off to Disney for 2 weeks.
This would be a lot better for Shel and not have to keep up with so much.

I have been a conductor for several coupon trains and it can be frustrating!!! I feel for ours as it is so hard to keep track of when you don't know if someone is not sending or not posting. This thread is vital in helping her out to know what is going on. If you haven't received in 2 weeks, I say bump the sender!!

On limiting certain coupons....... I can understand hair color, IF you use it, usually the coupons you receive in the newspaper are plenty for your once every month color. But, the dog food, you might not need it, but the person behind you might have 5 dogs and be thrilled to receive them. :)

I have two envies going out so we can hopefully beef up the train again.

One is going to Namsupak and one is going out to Rachel (who I had originally). Hopefully this will help the train get going again.
