Just found out this morning that my 16 year old did not mail my envie like he was supposed to. I was with my mom who was having surgery on Monday. I put it in the po today. I am so sorry!

Saved $27.82 on groceries and $0.50 at Walgreens this week.

One of my grocery coupons was for a free item (no price limit). I paid $3.99 for the item. When I got outside, I noticed she only took off $3.20. There was nothing for the price of $3.20 in my fairly small cart! Would you have gone back inside and asked about it, or swallowed the $.79 as I did?

Well, I guess it varies for me. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. It kind of depends on how tired I am or how frustrated I am with a particular store. It seems like certain stores are ALWAYS making mistakes (Walgreens!!!!) and I refuse to let them get by with it even though it's a hassle to try to get them to correct their errors. It seems like errors such as this happen way too often.

Confession - I am pretty sure I received an envie this week, but for the life of me, I can't find it!! (And if I didn't get one, pretty sure that won't make me feel better - only because I remember getting it!). Well - since it's the first time that has happened in more than 3 years, I'll cut myself some slack and blame it on the fact that all my dear children and husband are home for the summer! Glad to hear things are returning to normal. Bless you for bringing home a rescue pup and giving it a loving home. All our pets have joined us in the same manner and they've all been great additions to our family. When we lost our little shipoo to cancer back in October, 2012 we needed to fill the emptiness he left behind in our hearts. We adopted a sweet two year old Coton deTulear who had been rescued from a puppy mill in another state. She was scared of just about everything but especially of men so we feared she had been treated badly by an unscrupulous breeder. She is now a brave little girl who no longer shakes and shivers. Enjoy your new addition to the family!
