Oh wow!
I would love to be saving those top #'s. Any tips on how to save that much. Right now my biggest savings are buying mostly bogo and using what coupons I have for bogo and coupons for other items non bogo.

Some months using coupons are much better than others for me. Kind of depends on my schedule and how much time I can dedicate to it because it is time consuming. Here are some of the things I try to do but hope more of our train riders will chime in.
I try to never buy anything unless it's on sale which means I stock up on the stuff I know we frequently use when it's on sale. I check the ads every Sunday when the new ones come out for the week. I try to combine sale prices with mfg. coupons and store coupons for items. Of course that doesn't happen all the time but it's nice when it does.
Only one of our grocery stores double coupons and they limit it to five coupons and only on Wed. and Sat. However, one of the other major grocery stores will allow coupons to be expired by one month. Some of the stores will price match if you bring in the ad but I don't usually find time to do that. I faithfully keep shopping lists and buy only what's on the list and try to never be tempted by impulse shopping. It helps to know prices and what's a good deal and what isn't.
I use three plastic accordion type holders for my coupons with lots of sections so they're easy to sort through. I think others like baseball card binders to organize their coupons. I keep my coupon holders in a smallish reusable bag so it's easy to take along to the stores, but I prefer to get my coupons organized and clipped together to my shopping lists before I actually get to the stores.
I try to always plan our meals out for the week based on what is in the freezer or what's in the new ads and there are a few blogs that I try to look at daily or weekly. I try to use coupons for as much purchasing as possible, i.e., gas, restaurants, groceries, CVS/Walgreens, DH's haircuts, Target,
Walmart, etc. It's time consuming but the savings can be impressive as documented by our Hanutedmansionmomma.
OK, someone else's turn. Tell us how you do it.
