Notice to my coupon buddies: It may be a few extra days to send and receive envies here for me. I don't know if you have heard about all our fires here in CO but we are burning up. There seems to be a new one every day now and we have a crazy arsonist out here where I live. They are trying to catch him/her. We have a huge one by Denver plus another huge one not too far from where I live. They have our Hwy closed and the only way to get in up here in the mountains where I live is an extra 3 hr drive around the mountain. Therefore the post office will not get a truck in except for every few days until they get the hwy open to bring/take mail. Sorry mine will be late but hopefully not for too much longer. Keep CO in your prayers.

Thank you for letting me know. I totally understand about wildfires. Last year we had a major wildfire and it had to close some places down and we were even evacuated from our house. You stay safe out there in CO and if I don't get your coupons this week I will send out what ever new ones I have on Sunday and I will send out the rest later.

Yikes! Yes, I heard another report this morning on the news, but I hadn't heard it was an arsonist. How scary!!! I will be keeping you and your family and friends in my thoughts!!! Stay safe!!!

I had two envies for you that I put in the PO on Sunday, but it needed more postage (I must have calculated wrong online!) so I added the extra postage and they went back out yesterday. Sorry for the extra delay!!!

One of our train riders was informed that Kim in Guam can't accept our expired coupons for a few months. Just recently she was given very short notice that she would be deployed to Afghanistan until November. We will be informed when she returns to Guam and can accept expired coupons again. There are two other addresses that you can send your expired coupons to listed in the first posting on page one of our train thread.

Miki - you haven't gotten anything from me yet this week. My mom has been sick since Sunday and that has been an ordeal. She is having a heart cath done on Monday. It has just been a challenging week, so although there are coupons at my house (somewhere) they haven't made it to the post office. I'm hoping that I can get the envie together tonight and get it out tomorrow so you will at least have something. A million apologies!

UP North - receiving like usual. You totally hooked me up last week with the Pepsi Next coupons. I got nine two-liter bottles of soft drinks absolutely free! I actually had to go to two different Kroger stores because I emptied a shelf at the first one!

Anyone have budget friendly ideas for things to do in Kentucky? (Lexington, Louisville, Covington/Cincinnatti areas) We are thinking of taking a weekend trip soon.

What type of activities are you looking to do? There are minor league baseball teams in both Lexington and Louisville. I'm not a baseball fan, but I've been once and it can be fun - especially for the kiddo's. There is a children's museum and the KY Horse Park in Lexington. In Louisville, there is the Louisville Slugger Museum, the zoo and always concerts and things downtown. Of course there are tons of shopping malls and restaurants to hit every appetite! Feel free to PM me with specific questions.
