I wanted to post a little something that happened to me over the weekend. We live in a very rural part of Fl yes we have "Country" here. Anyways I always ALWAYS lock my suv . So much so i am anal about it. ANyways fast forward. hubby was cutting the grass an acre and a half mind you. He went by the wooded lot next door and saw a small blue mag flashlight. he picked it up thought it was weird but kept mowing thinking the kids grabbed one of the flashlights. Then he went past again and noticed a blue binder in the woods ok weird so he comes to get me. he says is your coupon binder in the suv . so i says yeah always is why. he says there is a binder that looks like yours in the woods ! So he trecks over with me in tow and its my Binder!! ok now this is what we figured to make the looong story short. someone broke into my Suv somehow grabbed my binder and my small mag light from my glove box. they ran to the woods used the flashlight to claim there "Prize" only to find out instead of it being a Laptop like they prob they thought.. it was an old ladies coupon binder . ok so now here is why I am posting this. People on here do alot of coupons myself included. I added my address to the binder and they took it The binder does look like it would contain a lap top because it is the zippered kind. the officer said we shouldnt be leaving them in the car because thats what people are going after. I got lucky no real damage to my SUV. It is a bit scary and I feel my privacy has been violated. We even have a motion light over the garage. They also were looking in Jays work van . He works for a AC company. They didnt even take the cash that was in the Suv in plain site and Jay had cash/ checks from working over the weekend. Just please everyone be careful. We all know our coupons are special to us, but if someone thinks its something else thats all the excuse you need to have someone break in. Thankfully my kids didnt have there DS in the Suv and we dont leave the Tvs in there anymore either. I stripped out everything I dont "need"from the SUV , even my binder. We also put up our cam corder to record while we are asleep etc because the Sheriff said they will prob be back. My black Lab Toby is fired by the way.. I just don't have the heart to tell the poor boy

I dropped your envie off at the post office this morning. I didn't receive my envie from last week until this afternoon, but you still have a nice one coming.
I am going to Disney this coming Sunday and won't get back home until the next Monday. I'll stop at the Quikstop on my way out of town to pick up a couple papers and mail your envie when we get to Florida. If my envie comes before DH leaves to join us (Thursday), I'll have him bring it to me. I'll get them to you, just wanted to let you know that they may be coming a bit differently to you the next couple of weeks.

Recently my daughters pre-school teacher started couponing, and as a result he (yes her teacher is male; preschool teacher by day, firefighter by night)started hanging surplus coupons outside the classroom door. As a result, my mom and I ahve been adding to the coupon exchange. It's been nice to swap coupons with other parents, and have others save specific coupons for us (ie; diaper coupons).

I also finally bought baseball card inserts to organize my coupons. It's a big step as I've always used an accordian file. Hopefully I can sort the coupons this weekend.

Sure sorry you had to experience this. I can definitely relate. We had our attached garage broken into a few years ago during the night and both vehicles were ransacked. They tried to take the stereo systems, but DH had installed them in his own "unique" way, and had wedged the consoles in so tight they wouldn't budge more than an inch! What creeped me out the most was that I was up half the night working in the kitchen, which connects to the garage, and they could have easily been out there at the same time. So strange, though. They could have taken all kinds of valuables from the garage, but they must have only been after the stereos. All they ended up with was my husband's designer sunglasses.

Thankfully, I don't think anyone would be interested in stealing my coupons, though, since I keep them filed in a baby wipes container!
