Sure can tell you don't live in Minnesota!

I didn't even think about those of you that live up North....I guess your favorite seasons might be completely different from us down South. Our winters usually stay around the 50s with a few real cold days around the 30s and on very rare occasions dip down in the teens (but thats usually only at night and no one goes outside when its that cold ----we would freeze---they don't sell thick enough jackets down here for that cold.)
When I was little my grandparents lived in Michigan and I thought it was so cool to visit them at Christmas because of all the snow. Now down here, if it snows---it shuts down the town, schools and businesses---and I'm only talking about maybe 1/4inch----no one down here can drive in that
It snowed here in rural South Alabama last year, maybe a rare 1/2inch of snow blanketed the ground...I have a picture of my then 10year old son raking snow off cars and the house to try and build his first and only snowman....it was so funny...my dad, who was raised in Michigan, couldn't help but laugh----it was a really funny sight

Wish I could send him a couple feet of our white stuff. My favorite season is summer followed by fall and spring. And as for winter..............it comes in a distant, very distant, fourth place. Unfortunately, it lasts for about five months up here. Oh, and then there was that year that we got about 30" of snow on Halloween. It was a good thing my kiddos were tall enough to trudge through the snow to go trick or treating! Oh, the joys of living in MN.

Want to know how crazy our weather is right now? It was 90 degrees here on Monday and tonight the low is predicted in the high 20's or low 30's. We had to move all of our potted plants from the deck into the garage or they would probably have perished tonight. We don't usually get lows like this for another month.....BRRRRRR!!! Bring back summer!

I just had to share this with someone...

You know how we all open a package and go "ooh a couopn!" only to say bummer it's expired. Well that was me this evening. In my duaghters backpack I found a small crayon box of 4 crayons that she must have received at school this week. On the outside it says valuable coupon inside. My thought was "score". Well turns out the coupon is expired. No biggie, but get this. It expired Dec. 30, 2001!

I'm wondering where that got dug up from

Just so you know I am going Monday for a second opinion on having surgery. I hope to know more on Monday .. some days are better then others so will keep posted if having a bad day if thats ok .

Do others get 2-3 papers a week or am I the only nut that does this? Smallest daughter wants to help cut coupons out ( she is good at it ) so I am "Paying her " to help me. We are cutting out 4 inserts X2 papers... How much do you think I should "Pay" her she is almost 9? Wonder what the mail man thinks when he tries to stuff the envies in the mailboxes hahah i should put up a camera .. things we do in the country

I get one paper, but I subscribe to All You Magazine and I am the annoying person who takes lots of the coupons that are hanging in the store I have considered getting another paper tho...

Eyor44 - sorry, but I don't have an envie going out this week. The Sunday papers had three little coupons in them not 3 inserts but just three coupons nothing more. Our paper has indicated that not all papers are receiving all the coupons because they have more subscribers than inserts at the moment - so some homes get all of them and some get 1 and some get none. Mine had the one insert and my mom's paper had none. A friend is bringing me some that her mother sends her from up North somewhere. Hopefully, I will have those by Friday and can send some out on Saturday. So sorry! I hope to make up for it.

Amanda - went the other day and didn't see it. I will keep my eyes open for them.

My favorite time of the year is starting. The weather is cooling off, people are starting to burn leaves, the local fair and all of its yummy temptations are only 4 weeks away, and the local pumpkin patches and corn mazes are gearin up to open. MMMMM! I love this time of the year! Anyone else consider Fall their favorite time of the year? (I also love the Christmas season as well)

I love Fall too!! I miss NY and the trees turning colors. Here they turn for like a day, then the wind takes them all away.

I get one paper, but I subscribe to All You Magazine and I am the annoying person who takes lots of the coupons that are hanging in the store I have considered getting another paper tho...

I do that too especially if they are for cereal because wow there not cheap. I have to get a new notebook for my coupons because this one wont sit in the seat like a good notebook and slides around so its a pain in the butt trying to hold it with one hand and flip thru coupons.Is there a way if someone is looking for a special coupon we can post it ? or should they just email me??
