We're back from our two week vacation and getting back into the swing of things. Although DH is a stinker as he turned around the day after we got back and jumped on a plane to Tampa for a business trip so he's back in sunny FL for the week while I try and wrangle the kids and dogs. Did I mention that he's a stinker?

NYCDiane - sent a decent sized one out to you - there were a pile of coups that expire on 8/31 and I separated them out in the front of the pile. Didn't want to just toss them as you should still get them in time to use them.

Yesterday morning, I had this conversation with my dear husband:

Me: Honey, can you drop off this envie at the post office this morning. I just don't think I will have time and the coupons need to get out. Please use the debit card.

Hubby: Sure, no problem.

The day passes, and 10 hours later when I get home, we finish the conversation:

Me: Honey, do you have the receipt from the debit card?

Hubby: For what?

Me: Ummmm, the envie for Jennifer!!

Hubby: Why did I have to pay anything? I just dropped it in the box.

Me: Well, honey, there was no postage on the envie. That's why you needed to use the debit card.

Hubby:

Sorry Jennifer - now I have to wait for the post office to return the envie, and I will resend. Never send a hubby to run the errands!

Yup, tell your DH he's in the conductor's doghouse! (He's not the only one though. We get lots of these reports about the DH's that are supposed to be listening to us give them instructions! They nod and say, "Yes, honey" and have no idea what they're supposed to do. )

40% is pretty normal for this time of year...I just wish I knew if it meant, 40% in the morning, for the last part of the hurricane, of 40% for the normal afternoon storms. Gotta love the weather!

This is similar to why I started using the automated kiosky thing in the post office on Sundays. Was not the best or desired job (standing the PO with a Dis-stickered envie) for my DH either!


belle - good luck w/ the photo shoot! I have to imagine Disney has some magic they sprinkle if it rains during a shoot. Let us know how it goes!!
