CAMICKEY: envie went out yesterday. It was just coupons I got from my mom. I didn't get my paper on sunday and I wasnt heading out. We got had the hurricane up here and there were a lot of trees down in my area.

Taychase: reced envies from last week today, gotta love our mail system. I know they went out late, but I think it was wed... it took 6 days, crazy! CAMICKEY: I will prob send out another envie to you tomorrow after I get a chance to go thru what I got today.

Yes, the other one is dead but every once in a while someone posts on it and then it resurfaces. The mods never locked it so it just floats around unfortunately.

"I recvd a very small envie agian last week and I did not get a paper delivered this past weeked due to the hurricane. I could not get out later because an armed gunman was loose in my neighborhood which kept us in lockdown in our homes most of Sunday. Very scary to say the least. Having armed poilce walking our streets made me feel safe but was terrifying. All is well now but I will just send my envie next week."

LattNJ~ Your envie may be a little late this week , I've had a super BUSY (but AMAZING) weekend. Saturday I assisted in a Meet and Greet with one of the actors from the Twilight series and last night I got free tickets AND meet & greet passes for Rick Springfield! I got home at 11pm last night and had to be at work at 5am today! Tonight we celebrated my mom's 79th birthday but I did manage to get them all clipped and in an envie, so I will make my way to the post office tomorrow.

DH had 1 large envie that he is taking to post office this morning. I am sorry you still have not gotten all 4 for last week yet. I am going to take them to post office from now on.

Well Irene has come & gone from long Island. We did not do so bad, just a lot of debris, branches & such. Others around here did not do so well, some still without power. working for LIRR has kept me busy, been working since Saturday afternoon. now that all trains are finally up & running, I took a couple days off.
Purple turtle: sorry about not sending envie yet should have it ready sometime today. gonna go through Sundays paper today. should be a nice one

Funniest thing happened - the envie arrived on Sat stamped "Returned for No Postage", but was in my mailbox with no postage due or anything. I think we found out why the post office is going bankrupt!

So, tell your hubbie he has the magic touch at the post office!

TreslovesWDW--I just mailed you an envelope today. I'm terribly sorry. Hurricane Irene hit our area pretty bad, many roads closed, etc. A tree did fall in my yard, but my back yard into some wood thankfully, we had minor flooding in our yard, small puddle in our crawl space and a minor leak in our kitchen, but I am so thankful that was the worse that I endured. Some people I work with lost everything.

VANESSASMOM, I forgot to post, but your flat rate envie went out Tuesday morning. I will be sending one next week, but won't the following week (9/12) because we will be at DISNEY WORLD! (I sent a bunch of coupons that I got from my mom so hopefully what you got/get is big enough to make up for me not sending any the week of 9/12). I will resume 9/19 but will be a little late the following week (9/26) because I will be back home in Indiana (I currently live in NC) for a long weekend because my cousin won a fully catered block party with Grave Digger (monster truck). So, I gotta take my son up there for the party! The truck and the driver will be there (and we get a bunch of goodies too)! Busy next few weeks, but it will be FUN!
