I haven't mailed out envie yet. Been a bit crazy here.Had to take DH to ER Tues. for chest tightness/trouble breathing.Everything turned out ok.Follow- up with PCP yesterday.Need to have bloodwork,etc. done... It's mentally exhausting for me. So I'm trying to get back in the swing of things. Will get them out tomorrow.

Jacobsmom, I got your big envie today. Thank you, there are many in there I hope to use this week but I've got one home all week with the flu&strep and the oldest one home with a sore throat and headaches. Will this illness in our family ever end? We have a family wedding this Saturday as well.

Lots of illness and visits to ER.....sure hope everyone does better very soon! This is so early in the season for folks to be so sick. Get well soon wishes to all!

Glad you got it I hope your kids get to feeling better soon. There is so much going on our school. Jacob had strep last week. I will keep my fingers crossed you don't get it

Thank you everyone for the well wishes, my youngest had strep last week and was on antibotics for 10 days. I kept him home from school all but one day and then 4 days later we comes down with the flu and another case of strep. I just found out today from another parent that one of his teachers had the flu and that why she was out last week. I am thinking he got it from her, I am not a very happy mom but hey at least he's not contagious (sp) anymore.

Hi! I'm new to the budget boards and am having a blast reading through everything. I'm not sure if others are aware of this, or if it is available where you live, but I just found out our newspaper will mail the ads and coupons to our home free of charge! We are not subscribers, and now I don't have to try and remember to go purchase the Sunday paper (while trying to find one where folks haven't already "borrowed" the coupons out of). Saves me the money and the time. I just called them up and asked about it.

I sent my dad out with a bunch of coupons & a list to do the shopping. (DS sick) He came home with about $30 of things we didn't need & weren't on list, forgot to use most of the coupons & still saved us $15!
