Another week, another lack of coupons in the mail! Maybe they will come tomorrow?

a little of topic, but it's about saving $$. Did you know target has a debit card you can link to your checking for 5% cash back, just like their credit card?? I didn't know...guess I was clueless. Anyways, it takes 5% off your total. So if you have that, plus the .05 per recyclable bag you bring in. And a bonus if you fill prescriptions there using the red card, after 5 fills, you get a coupon for 5% off that for what I was told you can combine with the 5% cash back.

I am a target shopper and sooo wish I knew about this before. I told my fellow target friend shoppers and they had no clue! I won't fill target prescriptions there that need refills just because they have cut back their hours, but I have at least 2 per month that are not refillable. that's a better reward for me to fill it there than cvs where I only get .50 a fill. I usually spend at least 50 at target per visit and that would be break even.... plus my target is expanding and will be carrying produce! they do have decent matchups on the groceries they carry. They are doing a whole remodel, so maybe we'll get more groceries, too!

Something I thought I'd pass along to anyone that shops regularly at Target. You all may have noticed their ads for their credit card which gives you 5% off your purchases and donates 1% of it to a local school of your choice. Well, I didn't want another credit card so instead, I got their debit card. The money comes straight out of my checking account and I get 5% off all my purchases (plus 5 cents for every reusable bag I bring and use!). I know it doesn't sound like alot, but our sales tax is 10% and I just see it as half the cost of that! Every little bit adds up. Thought I'd pass it along!!

3/24$2.50 seems like I've been hitting Sam's more lately (have been getting glasses for 3 of us there, so lots of visits!), so not as many coupons and higher grocery bills...gotta get back on track with everyone, seeing as our train has already saved over...................................

Yes, all Targets credit you $.05 per reusable bag that you use. Some cashiers think they can only give credit for Target bags, but it is really all of them. I have mostly Disney bags.


And WOW!!!! we are awesome at saving!!!!!!
