I just want to send an extra thank you to everyone that sent me coupons. Your envies really brightened my week and my bday. I have been really bummed this week due to stuff going on in my life. My actual bday is tomorrow and I also have to take two major tests for the CNA class I'm taking right now. They determine whether I start clinicals and pass the class. Basically, if I fail them tomorrow I'm out. But I just wanted to say that your envies have been really given me an extra boost of cheerfulness which also boosts my self confidence and makes me feel much better about tomorrow. So again, thank you all so much! And an extra special thanks to ShiPooOwner for creating and maintaining this train! I am so grateful to be a part of it and the Dis!

Saw your banner at the bottom of your post and wanted to comment! I want to congratulate you on being smoke-free for that length of time! My DDad died from heart disease, emphysema, and cancer all caused by 52 years of smoking which he started at the tender age of 12 and eventually lost his battle to at the young age of 64. You are doing great~~keep it up!

Aww, thanks! Sorry about your Dad It has been almost 12 years now and to be honest I can't even stand to be around people who smoke now (no offense to the smokers, it just bothers me now). My husband doesn't smoke and never has so it made it easier to quit, but I have never felt or smelled (LOL) better!!

Not so many coupons this time due to DH taking care of the dogs this morning as I slept in. Typically I am first to rise on Sunday mornings and use this time to get the dogs fed and let them outside. I then grab the paper and sit down with a cup of coffee to sort through the ads and pull the coupons to be clipped later by DH and myself. WELL, DH let out the dogs but failed to grab the paper. Yup, you guessed it...Brunswick the sweet innocent puppy he is got a hold of it, dragged it behind the house and tore it to shreds.
I got up and asked DH where the paper was and he said he never brought it in. When I looked out back *GASP* my precious paper including any coupons were torn to bits! So DH now knows the events that need to transpire on Sunday mornings so this doesn't happen again.
