I am trying to start clipping coupons. My grocery store does triple coupons, but it says you can only use 6 per household per week and has coupons for it. Do you know if I can get another sales circular and another 6 coupons and go on two days or do they have it linked to your bonus card and really only allow 6 per week? Thanks,

If you go at two different times with two sets of the triple coupons, you should be able to use both of them. I've done it and never been stopped. You may not be able to get a second circular at the store however. It seems the usually when our stores do this, the circular's that they have at the store don't have the coupons in them so I usually have to get a second circular somewhere else. (Not a problem for us since the other tenants in our apartment building never take their circulars.)

Yep, that's the problem I ran into, no coupons in the store circular, i'm not sure where to find more, oh well, I saved $70 anyway.

You are lucky that you can do double or triple coupons. I have never seen triple ones here. Before one of our huge chains sold out, we would occasionally have double coupons and I took advantage of that.

The two biggest chains here always double coupons which have a face value of up to 99 cents. Occasionally, they will print 5 or 6 triple coupons in the flyer...and one of the stores will accept the competitors coupons. I always go through to find all my 75 cent coupons when I get triples...so that'll be $2.25 savings. (I've never seen any coupon between 75 cents and $1.00, so the tripled 75 cent is the best deal you can get.)

They run this ad in our Giant stores, and yes the coupons are linked to your card. I have had extra "triples" from another shopper and the cashier would not let me use more than 6. However, sometimes... you never know. YOu could get a cashier that will let you use more. If I forget my card, I sometimes ask if they would run their store card through so I get the bonus deals (not for extra triples) and they have done that for me.

Hmm...I have one card in my name and one in my husband's name - with two totally different numbers. Might be another way to get around it.

We usually get the store flyers with coupons in the Sunday paper but I also go to the store (in my case Stop & Shop) website and sign up to have the flyer sent to my house - then you can get 2 sets!

Our local store (Giant) offers triple coupons on occasion...this week they are in the circular...however, they are tied directly to your shoppers card and if you try to use more than one circular on a return visit, it won't let you. Doesn't matter how many cards you have (both I and DH have one)--if it is the same address, you can only use one set of triple coupons....they used to triple $1.00 coupons ($3.00 off one item) but people abused them so they switched to triple up to .99 cents....sort of dumb that you can't use 1.00 coupons since it is only a three cent difference between tripling $1.00 coupons and .99 coupons (if you could find any of these)

I think your Giant, may be the same as my Martins. I started buying the Sunday paper because we don't get any circulars in the mail. I guess I'll be happy with what I saved and hope for more triples in the future.
