Couples massage?

OK - I'm considering adding on the REAS package, but would really love details on the couples massage.......I've looked on Barb's website, but no real details there. Just want to be able to have some info when I try to talk my DH into it! I was going to get massages for each of us, but it looks like it might be worth the little extra for the whole package deal.

We've already booked the REAS pkg for this same cruise and it is very much worth the price now since the couples massage just increased in price from $187 to $242. Your Palo's ressie is included and we've already booked ours. The champagne breakfast in bed and the gift basket are the other extras you get. Rumor has it that the REAS pkg will not be offered much longer so if you are tempted better go ahead and book it now before it's to bad so sad.

My DH and I just returned from the May 8th Magic and we had the REAS pkg. We had our couples massage on the 2nd day at sea and all I can say is WOW!! We decided to do the spa taster - 25 min. massage and 25 min. facial/scalp massage. I didn't know if DH would like it - esp. the facial - BUT midway through the facial (the massage was first), he said "Honey, you can book one of these anytime you get ready!" I couldn't believe it! Afterwards, we couldn't hardly walk - we were sooooo relaxed! The scalp massage was wonderful too!

We were on the 5/13 Wonder and did the couples massage NOT via the REAS package....I was stunned at the price as I was expecting the $178 I had seen posted here....oh well.
We are cruising again in December and I am planning on adding the REAS package.....because we both would like a massage again and for the advance spa and Palo ressies....


the couples massage - we did the full body...it was kind of tight in the room but overall we left feeling very relaxed.
In Dec DH wants to do the massage which includes the rocks.....

Here's my prediction:

Disney started the REAS package with the intent of making it a special splurge/pampering thing for couples. Then people discovered that it was a pretty good deal, and suddenly "everyone" wanted it. It's kind of like the booking your next cruise while you're onboard thing -- it took a new direction that isn't necessarily the one Disney had wanted.

I predict that we'll see an "all new" REAS package, perhaps with a new name. I predict it'll be more expensive and tailored specifically to couples (and probably unattractive to those of us sailing with families).

So it looks like there might be a choice of massages for the "couples" massage. I like the spa taster idea......sounds wonderful and relaxing......... Looks like I better get on the stick and make that ressie!
Hey John - you're doing good, eh? My computer got a horrid virus that corrupted EVERYTHING and is in the middle of being blown up and re-installed, so haven't been able to chat (I'm here on the jelly-encrusted kids' computer!)

What is the difference between the spa taster and the other massage included in the REAS package? I know the taster includes the facial but is the other just a regular all over massage? thanks!!
